FACT: On January 22, 2026, OpenAI quietly finalized its partnership with Leidos - the largest contractor powering DHS’s surveillance and enforcement systems. There was no announcement, no press release from OpenAI. They also quietly removed their ban on military use of ChatGPT. The only reason we know any of this is because Leidos issued a short press release acknowledging the deal.
